He was clothed in an oversized t-shirt and nappy only. There was no information about him. All I knew was that his mom was in the hospital due to a drug overdose, and there was no one who could take care of him.

In 2015 I left Limpopo and my family and moved to Gauteng in search of better opportunities. Moving to Gauteng was the biggest and bravest decision I have ever made. Coming to a new environment and home was challenging and I am so grateful that I found Ithuteng. Through Ithuteng, I was able to form new relationships and settle into a new world. I left my biological mother in Limpopo but God has been so good to me and I have been blessed with family figures who have had a huge impact in my life.

We had training for the community teachers in late August 2022 and did not have the money to feed the teachers, so we went out and looked for sponsors. About a month before the time, we did not get any feedback and every time we asked the potential sponsors if they could help, their answer was “We are not sure yet”.
