LIV Village opened in Durban in 2011, from a vision planted by God in the heart of Tich Smith. Since then, LIV has expanded to 5 more villages and community projects, in various stages of development, with more growth to come. 

Due to the expansion of the LIV footprint, LIV Central was launched to oversee and govern the growth of our Villages and projects – with a focus on stewarding the organization, scaling the impact, sustaining the growth, and serving the village leaders. 

LIV Central is a registered NPC with a national board of governors and an executive management team who have been selected to bring a combination of sound spiritual oversight, wisdom, practical guidance, and transparent good governance

Every village is a separately registered NPC with its own PBO and NPO registration and governing Board of Directors.
