OPERATING WITH DUAL PURPOSE
The inception of LIV Business came from the founders of LIV Durban, recognising the need for the village to achieve self-sustainability, while simultaneously addressing the issue of unemployment within the impoverished community surrounding LIV Durban.
Driven by this vision, LIV Business emerged as a transformative force. Its purpose is twofold: to enable the village to become self-sustaining and to create skills development and job opportunities for the community.
Through innovative initiatives and strategic planning, LIV Business is actively working towards breaking the cycle of poverty. By fostering entrepreneurship, skills development, and job creation, we empower individuals to uplift their lives and contribute to the overall growth of the community.
As a Level 1 B-BBEE company, we operate LIV Labels and LIV Agriculture and invest in other businesses.
LIV LABELS
LIV Labels is a manufacturer of self-adhesive labels using flexographic printing. Since 2015, LIV Labels has been producing high quality products to suit unique business needs. Our head office is based at LIV Durban in a 250 square meter factory.Â
We are driven by our passion for producing quality products and providing excellent service. LIV Durban owns 100% of LIV Labels, which gives us a Level 1 B-BBEE rating.
LIV AGRICULTURE
LIV Business has identified agriculture as another area with enormous potential for job creation, income generation, as well as the provision of healthy sustenance for LIV Durban residents and the community. The LIV Agriculture project has been in operation for 8 years and looking to scale.
LIV Agriculture’s purpose is to play a part in the sustainability of LIV Durban. It has also been a vehicle for creating jobs in rural communities, exposing LIV Durban children to farming practices, and promoting healthy eating habits.
