VOLUNTEER AT LIV LANSERIA
LIV Lanseria needs volunteers throughout the year. You can choose to join the LIV Lanseria team on short or long term basis.
Volunteers have served in many ways over the years – from short-term trips to long-term missional roles. If you would like to explore how you may be able partner with us through volunteering, we invite you to find out more about our current volunteer opportunities below.
Over the years, volunteering opportunities have seasonally looked different based on the emerging needs of our LIV family. Current placement in a volunteer role is based on the skills and experience of a volunteer, the specific needs of LIV departments as well as the duration of a volunteer’s service.
Short-term volunteer opportunities are currently limited as we are now able to offer intern roles to our growing number of ‘Released’ kids, who have finished school or are enrolled in our training programmes to further their work experience.

Groups or mission teams can consider joining us for a few days or up to two weeks, to support with kids programmes over the school holidays or various projects in the different areas of village life.
We love welcoming corporate teams to our village. This is a great opportunity for teambuilding and for your organisation to give back at the same time.
Projects vary depending on team sizes, budgets, and village needs, but you can expact a fun packed day of helping us make improvements in our school, homes, or other areas of the village.

Tutors
We have various opportunities for Tutor's to facilitate lessons for learners in our Ithuteng programme.
Registered Counsellor
This is an opportunity for a HPCSA registered counsellor to children and staff.
Photographer
Our Marketing Department often needs new photos taken.
Facilities Manager
An opportunity to oversee our maintenance and site teams.
Special Needs Teacher
An opportunity to work with special needs children in our preschool
Edcuational Psychologist
An opportunity to work with children of all ages assisting them with strategies for learning and problem solving
Occupational Therapist
We currently have 2 x Occupational Therapist opportunities available to work with children between the ages of 4 and 16. HPCSA registration required.
Play Therapist
This opportunity is to work with children between the ages of 4 and 11.
Videographer
Our Marketing Department often needs new video content produced.
Sports Coaches
We have an opportunity for a Netball coach to assist on a Tuesday afternoon.
Christian Counsellor
This opportunity is to work with children and adults. HPCSA registration required.
Psychologist
This opportunity is to work with children and adults. HPCSA registration required.
Speech Therapist
This opportunity is to work with children between the ages of 4 and 16.
