MAKING AN IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY
OF LANGKLOOF
LIV Langkloof was birthed from the heart of the Father to respond to the need in the community and care for abandoned, abused, neglected, orphaned and homeless children. Our dream is to be a place of safety for children in need, but to also provide education, holistic care, counselling, relief and community upliftment to restore and transform lives.
Our first home is managed by Melinda Visser with four children placed in her care through the help of our social partners at the Department of Social Development. Johannes Van der Merwe oversees the outreach programmes for sport and visiting the elderly.
They are part of the operational team and the overall workings of LIV Langkloof is governed by a Board of Directors.
We are trusting for future plans to come to life by purchasing a suitable venue in the Langkloof where we can establish a village with multiple houses and an Early Childhood Development facility.
GIVING HOPEÂ TO THOSE IN OUR CARE
At LIV Langkloof, we believe in the strength of community. We are working hand in hand with the Department of Social Development that did a social audit, and concluded that the area needs a place of safety. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

We currently have four children in our care where they are nurtured in a family environment with a foster mother to love them and all their needs are met.
The house is provided by our international ministry partners Danie & Brigette Van der Merwe.
