As a child I was full of energy. As soon as I could walk, I started running. I remember my family paying me to keep still on many occasions.  Like many athletes my running career started on the cross country field in primary school.

LIV2Run – PHAKAMANI’S STORY

My life started in one of the biggest Townships in South Africa – Imbali Stage 2 in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. I was born on 12th January 1992 and am the firstborn in a family of 6, 5 siblings and a father, unfortunately my mother passed away.

LIV DURBAN WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

Our 3rd annual Women’s Conference took place on the 13th of May at LIV Durban where over 430 women gathered for a day of worship, teaching, community and great food! The theme for this year was “Love God, Love your Neighbour”, and we unpacked Mark 12 with our amazing speakers, Zizipho Ludidi, Leah Moodley and Jo Wynn.
