LIV4Change is a life-changing discipleship school that is gospel-centred and mission-focused. Here at LIV Durban we are driven by Jesus’ great commission of all believers to go out into every nation to make disciples, and this is the heart of the LIV4Change discipleship school.

We are passionate about seeing believers grow into the fullness of the Gospel, and we believe that as we do that, we are led by the Spirit into a missional life. LIV4Change is a 6 month discipleship school that seeks to lay strong gospel foundations, encourage growth in maturity as sons and daughters, and provide experience of living out a missional life.

WHAT DOES LIV4CHANGE LOOK LIKE?

LIV4Change is split into two semesters, both lasting 3 months. Semester 1 focuses on teaching, ministry time, and serving the village. In semester 2, you will take part in an internship in a department of your choosing, where you will continue to serve the village and grow in discipleship.

SEMESTER 1: GROW AND SERVE

Semester 1 is all about establishing strong foundations for growth in faith. This is done through weekly teaching sessions, group study times, prayer and worship sessions, 1-1 meetings, and through serving practically in lots of different areas of village life.

SEMESTER 2: INTERNSHIPS

Semester 2 focuses on starting to “step out” and live missionally. This is done primarily through internships. You will choose a department on the village to intern in based on your strengths and interests. Whilst continuing in weekly teaching and village life, you will spend the majority of each day in your chosen internship. This semester gives you an opportunity to walk out what you’ve learnt, make a real impact, and gain invaluable experience to equip you for where you are being sent next.
