On Friday, the 5 April, we spoiled our donors with a boat cruise on the Hartebeespoort Dam. The Harties Boat Company graciously gave us a discount and we were able to give our donors a beautiful and unforgettable experience. We did this to THANK OUR DONORS for their constant and generous giving towards LIV Lanseria. We could not do what we do without them.
Our afternoon started with registrations, Magwinyas (which are little vetkoeks), and a beautiful performance from our LIV Lanseria Choir before boarding the boat. At 15h50 we started boarding the boat and were welcomed by the amazing crew members before departing. Throughout the cruise, we ate some delicious food served to us, heard the testimonies of a few of our staff members, heard an inspiring message from our leader, Leanne, and held an auction.
All-in-all the event was successful, leaving lasting memories.
