On Saturday, August 10th, a flame was ignited—a powerful shift from graves into gardens, from captivity to liberation, and from death to life. In a room filled with anticipation, around 80 women from the Fisantekraal township stepped into a morning where the weight of their pasts met the transformative power of faith. This was more than just an event; it was a turning point where chains could be broken, and new identities were forged in the light of Jesus. As they entered, burdened by the scars of violence, trauma, and hardship, they emerged clothed in love, grace, and a renewed sense of purpose.
The day began with a powerful wave of worship at LIV Cape Town, as the Holy Spirit was invited into the room, stirring deep within the hearts of every woman present. What started as soft, tentative whispers grew into a resounding chorus, voices lifting higher and higher, hands reaching toward heaven, tears flowing freely.

Our guest speaker, Nonku, took the stage, delivering a profound testimony of turning graves into gardens. Her story was one of resurrection—a journey from the depths of darkness into the light of life. As she spoke of the grace and protection of Jesus that carried her through the most darkest moments, her words cut straight to the core, resonating deeply and embodying the very essence of the conference’s theme.
The event concluded in a powerful ministry moment. Women stepped forward, not just to be prayed over, but to lay bare their deepest wounds and burdens. In those sacred moments of shared pain and healing, a community was born—a sisterhood bound not by shared suffering, but by the hope and strength they found in one another. The day closed with time spent together, sharing a meal, capturing memories in photos, and embracing the newfound bonds that had been forged.

We believe this conference was more than just a gathering—it was a divine catalyst for transformation. Our purpose was to create a sacred space where women could shed their burdens and step into an atmosphere filled with joy and freedom. As they left, we wanted them to carry with them a renewed sense of identity, empowered by Jesus, ready to return to their community with hearts ablaze, speaking love and life into every corner of their world—their homes, their families, their neighbours.

But this ministry was never meant to be confined to a single day. We believe that the seeds planted in that room will grow and flourish, spreading throughout the walls of these women’s homes, into the streets of Fisantekraal, and beyond. When one woman’s heart is set on fire for the Lord, it has the power to ignite an entire community, transforming lives and turning graves into gardens by the unstoppable power of His love.
