This past month, LIV was blessed beyond words by an incredible team from Slash, a company based in Abu Dhabi, who came with full hearts, open hands, and a contagious sense of joy. What they brought to our Early Childhood Development Centre was nothing short of transformational.
From the moment they arrived, they rolled up their sleeves and poured themselves into every part of our space and community. What was once a simple playground is now a wonderland for our children—complete with a beautifully built mud kitchen, interactive water play area, a charming LIV grocery store, fresh plantings, and a shaded outdoor zone perfect for hot summer days. They didn’t just upgrade our space—they reimagined it entirely.
But they didn’t stop there.
They painted, cleaned, planted, laughed, danced (yes, even Zumba!), and brought so much light to LIV. Our children were treated to fun, thoughtful activities every day, and our staff was supported in ways we’ll never forget. The team even helped us level up our marketing, trained us in storytelling, took stunning photographs, and created a beautiful LIV video that captures the heart of what we do.
This team showed us that service is joy. Every moment with them was filled with laughter, dancing, and genuine connection. They lived out what community truly means—people showing up, using their gifts, and giving of themselves for the sake of others.
At LIV, we believe in partnership and in the power of people coming together to make something beautiful. This project was a shining example of that.
