Recently, Woolworths has partnered alongside us in donating food and toiletries to our LIV Village here in Lanseria. When Woolworths first approached us and signed us on as beneficiaries, we had absolutely no idea the magnitude of the blessing we would receive. We started receiving donations from them on the 20th of March and our first donation was one truck, one trailer, and one bakkie load full. We were able to give to all our children, all our programmes, all our staff, and still had such an overflow that we were able to be a blessing to our community here in Joe Slovo.
We are forever grateful for the blessing that these donations have been to us, from perishable food, to non-perishable, and even toiletries. Each and every bit of the donation has not gone to waste and has been used to the fullest. We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Woolworths for considering us and for their generosity.
