We can’t believe that six months have passed since the LIV4Change Class of 2018 first set foot on LIV Village soil. On Saturday 7th of July they were celebrated at the LIV4Change Graduation Ceremony, in proper African style.
These 21 students have lived together in close community over the last six months and have served LIV Village in numerous departments and in various ways. They have diligently attended teachings and completed assignment on topics that cover the full spectrum of basic Christianity. Lives have been changed completely as they discovered a deeper meaning of being a child of God whilst serving in His Kingdom.

The 21 students accompanied by the leaders of LIV4Change, Jonathan McCririe, Katherine Strevens, Rachael Sullivan and Karina Khoza.
At their graduation ceremony, two of these students shared their testimonies with the rest of the LIV Family. Over the course of four Wednesday evenings, each student had the opportunity to share what God has done in their lives with the rest of the group as well as LIV staff members. It has been very encouraging to hear all their stories.
Every student received a Zulu-name which described their journey best as well as a certificate to confirm their completion of this 6-month long Discipleship School. The evening was ended with laughter and some silly dance moves and lovely treats prepared for them by the LIV Mothers.
“I made the best friends, I found out what kind of life I want to live but most of all I learned who I really am and who God really is.” – Lauren Walters, LIV4Change 2018
The last of the LIV4Change students have left to go home to England but they are part of the LIV family now and we are excited to see how mightily God will use them.
