LIV Welding Academy, in association with Afrox, is going from strength to strength. The accreditation at CHIETA has recently been updated and is valid until September 2019. We are in the process of applying to become an ATB (Authorized Training Body) with the SAIW. This accreditation will allow our students to achieve the IIW Certificate with which they can work anywhere in the world.
The first group of students have now completed the MMA SMAW Fillet Welding process and they are currently working on the TIG Fillet Welding process.
These students have worked hard in giving back to LIV. They have supplied the Owethu Community Clinic with burglar bars and installed them. Apart from this, they are in the process of building burglar bars for LIV School and they also assisted in the construction of two additional classrooms to LIV Training School, which will be used for different courses to uplift and train the surrounding community.
If you would like to find out more about the potential training courses and the way forward, or get involved in any way, please contact anne@liv-village.com.
