LIV Lanseria has had a very busy six months, like all the other LIV communities. We are diligently working towards creating a better future for the youth in our midst and persevering by continually facilitating the programmes we have set in place to feed around 3000 children per day, constructively keeping these kids busy after school hours and during holidays and also creating a safe environment for the orphaned and vulnerable kids in our care.
The “God is Able” sewing project has reached new heights this year as five lovely woman of God, have developed in their faith and skill. As of late, the fruit of their labour had flourished. Through perseverance, diligence, and dedication (and support from a dedicated volunteer) they were able to design and produce hand bags with African flare for local and international markets. The pride of these bags and the joy of creating radiates in their faces and their hard work. Now, their weeks are full of activities; sewing on Thursday and Fridays, running our donation room on Tuesday and Wednesday, and gardening discipleship on Monday alongside Gospel Outreach. God continues to bring volunteers, community members, and servants of Him to LIV Lanseria to grow and inspire the Gospel to be displayed throughout Lanseria. We hope for more and more growth and radiance of His glory throughout Lanseria and Johannesburg

LIV Lanseria Choir has been spreading their joyful noise throughout Johannesburg! Through the leadership of Evelyn, one of our foster moms and therapy assistant at our baby home, the 25 young ladies have been worshiping weekly together. They had opportunities to worship on larger stages eg. Heritage Day Event, LIV Lanseria Donor Dinner, Heron Bridge Community Church, and Siloam Church of Sandton. These larger stages are opportunity to display the Glory of God through worship and praise by these young woman. Evelyn is diligent in reminding the girls that they are children of God unified as a choir by music and dance. We are excited to see how else the Lord will receive glory through His beautiful creations moving forward.
