This year LIV hosted a Christmas Celebration on 2nd December. It was a special day for LIV, as it was an opportunity for us to show our donors just how much we value them, as well as giving them the chance to see the children they help raise. We were so excited to see so many of our supporters drive all the way out to the village to watch the children’s performance.
Many people who came out to the village took the opportunity to mingle, catch up or get to know one another, do a little Christmas shopping in the LIV shop, and become more familiar with the village through a tour.
LIV’s amazing Kingdom Boys performed as the opening act whilst guests were arriving. The main performance at the Christmas Celebration was a wonderful nativity play by the ECD. The children did an amazing job learning their scripts and songs off by heart.
After the play the Grade R graduates spoiled the audience with a wonderful dance performance, which was followed by a performance from the LIV Choir who ended the event off with some beautiful carols, reminding us all about the reason for this season – the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
We would like to say a big thank you to all of our donors who made the effort to be a part of this special day. It is an amazing opportunity for our kids to see and meet some of the people who play such pivotal roles in their lives. To all our donors who were not able to attend and be a part of this special day, we would like express our sincerest appreciation for your partnership and support in raising this next generation of leaders.
