We would love to welcome and invest into an intern 20-30 years old, with some ministry/church experience. The role would be to come alongside the various ministries running in school, prayer, volunteers and children’s church. The experience you would gain will be vast and inciteful, presenting much opportunity for growth and fun!
You would work with many members of the department and of course be involved in village life too, living onsite. The internship would last for 1 year.
Roles and responsibilities
Supporting the delivery of the discipleship programme on the village-
- Sunday delivery of 13-16s program ·
- Friday night youth sessions support ·
- A part of the team who deliver younger tribes (youth dicipleship groups)
- Facilitating the Alpha course as part of a team ·
- Explore opportunities for mission trip for our children with tribe leaders
Youth Events-
- Prepping and organizing Youth events in collaboration with Dan
- Setting up and packing down the events
- Equipping team to deliver the event.
Come Together festival–
- Being part of the management team for Come Together Festival in July
- Working on the festival build delivery and prep
Developing community outreach-
- Engaging in planning and prep for community outreach
- Developing a brand and structure for the poutreach through experimental sessions
Support Pastoral Team in events, holiday club and other responsibilities –
- To support the wider pastoral team with events, session and other things needed throughout the year.
- To help with pre planning, team hosting and facilitation of holiday clubs during school holidays in conjunction with the volunteer co-ordinator
Pastoral Input/spiritual life –
- To be committed to attending pastoral input session regularly ·
- Intercession – To be part of regular intersession sessions throughout the week.
- Making priority for quiet time
- Sabbath
