Head of Finance(LIV DURBAN)
We are looking for a suitably qualified innovative, dynamic and experienced accountant, who has a love and passion for children, to complement our Team.
The successful candidate will be based at LIV Durban.
Applicants should have:
): · Relevant Bachelor of Commerce degree or Bachelors in Accounting. Honours degree advantageous · At least 3 years’ experience in working with finances · Sound knowledge of Finance and Accounting · Proficient in drawing up and managing budgets · Previous Managerial experience advantageous · NGO and Ministry experience advantageous · Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel. · Proficiency with Pastel Accounting advantageous. · Core Competencies: Strategic capability and leadership. Program and project management. Financial management. Change management. People management and empowerment. Characteristics such as integrity, honesty, reliability, accurate working ability and numeric calculations, knowledge management, problem solving, communication and analysis.
