Tuesday 31st January 2012 We had the incredible privilege of seeing a young lady, Valentino Ndaba who has been on the Back To School program which is run by Lungisani Indlela in Amaoti achieve 6 distinctions with her matric results, and a remarkable 78% for maths.

Wednesday 18th January 2012 Last week our senior primary class had a very special guest come and visit us! Keegan Daniels popped in to our class, and the boys were particularly excited to see him and immediately started asking him a hundred questions about rugby! Keegan was able to hang out with the students and spent time touring the village.

Thursday 15th December 2011 As the LIV School students boarded the bus and sang songs all the way to Ushaka Marine World for their end of year special excursion, you could feel their excitement and anticipation in the air! Ushaka generously gave us complimentary tickets to enter the aquarium as well as the waterslides on Monday, Dec.5.

Tuesday 29th November 2011 Tich and I watched the incredible true story of the bravery and tenacity of surfer, Brittany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack, and, against all odds, truly believed she could do all things, went out and did it. Tuesday 15th November 2011 At 6.00am on Friday morning we got a call to pray as a huge wind was threatening to blow the marquee away! Many were called to get on their knees. Wednesday 26th October 2011 So much seems to be happening that we felt it was time for a progress report.
Our 6 mothers and children in residence are doing really well and settling into village life.
The mothers are daily tending the vegetable garden which is already harvesting spinach.
LIV recycling is working well. The wormery is ensuring that most of our [...] view more
Monday 10th October 2011 Approximately 100 volunteers from Grace Family Church with their families descended on the village on Saturday the 1st of October. Their one mission in mind, to create as much fun as possible for the children of the LIV Village and the surrounding Cottanlands Community.
