Kilometres for Kids

Kilometres for Kids …………… that is what the staff at Private Property will be doing to raise awareness and funds for the children at the LIV Village. A team of 9 runners will be going to the 2 Oceans Marathon in Cape Town over the Easter weekend in April, and running with the aim to raise enough money to sponsor feeding a home in the village monthly.

They will all be running the 21km race!

Private Property has been amazing – take a look at the new website and you will see the exceptional virtual tour which they have so kindly done for us and are allowing us to use.

Recent figures published by Statistics South Africa indicate that there are 18 million children under the age of 15 in South Africa and of those, 12 million children are considered at risk, vulnerable and suffer abuse of one sort or another.

When one considers these statistics it is going to demand that each and every one of us stand up as a province and nation and begin to champion the plight of these vulnerable children, and start to make a meaningful difference in their lives and their futures.

Thank you Private Property for stepping up and saying we are prepared to be the difference!

TOGETHER WE CAN…………………
