We have been able to put together an amazing concert that will be held at the Playhouse (Durban) at 18.45pm on 7th May 2011, (Information attached). The aim of the concert is to raise awareness of the plight of the orphans and vulnerable children of KZN, and also raise funds for the first LIV Village that is presently under construction outside Veralum.
The concert will feature:
- The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra
- The Drakensberg Boys Choir
- The Watoto Childrens Choir from Uganda.
We invite you to join us at this historical concert. We are approaching businesses in KZN to donate R10,000 for which you will be allocated 10 tickets to the concert. (You can give a bigger donation and you will be allocated tickets accordingly). The concert is being hosted by LIV (all proceeds will be shared with Watoto) which is a registered NPO/PBO and therefore a Section 18(a) Certificate will be issued. We are also fully BEE compliant and therefore all donations will count towards your BEE scorecard.
Individuals can book tickets from R300 and they will be issued with a Section 18(a) certificate for their donation.
We hope that you will be able to join us at this exciting concert on the 7th May, and if you are unable to be there, we hope that you will still consider giving LIV a donation as we endeavor to look after every vulnerable and orphaned child in KZN.
