Approximately 100 volunteers from Grace Family Church with their families descended on the village on Saturday the 1st of October. Their one mission in mind, to create as much fun as possible for the children of the LIV Village and the surrounding Cottanlands Community.
Pastor Elliot Sonjika from the LIV Church opened the day in worship and prayer and then there was no holding back with the kids and volunteers.
The children were able to partake in soccer, crafts – where some amazing artwork was done, ‘Minute to Win It’ games – where children were given a whole lot of fun challenges to complete. Not forgetting the face-painting as the boys had their super heros and the girls had butterflies and flowers painted on.
We would like to thank Grace community for all their work done for the day. Dave and his team of leaders, the men for their braai skills in cooking all the boerewors rolls that Grace had donated, the lady’s that setup the juice and buttered all the rolls, the wonderful moms from the village and all the volunteers on the day.
