Night of a Thousand Banquets

LIV banquet 2011 is a banquet with a difference. It is a night of 1,000 banquets.

In April 2010, LIV was launched at a banquet at the ICC (Durban International Convention Centre) and was attended by 4 000 guests.

This event seemed such an impossible task, but, with the help of 400 table hosts, who invited 10 friends/colleagues each, we were able to reach our target of 4 000 guests. It was amazing for us to see how so many got involved and made it happen.

The first 16 houses are up. We have our first 6 children in residence and attending the LIV school. With the arrival of new children and mothers, this brings a whole new season of expenses in terms of feeding, clothing, schooling, medical etc.

We are, once more, needing the support of many, but this time we are asking you to host a LIV ‘banquet’ in your home, at a restaurant, business, church etc.

Our target is to find 1 000 hosts in a 1 000 venues on the 5th November. We invite you to consider being one of these LIV hosts and also ask others to be a host.

We need change on a MASSIVE scale if we are going to leave a legacy of hope for the future generations of our country.
