Excitement is mounting as we count down the days to the completion of the first cluster and the arrival of the 8 mothers.
Stedone Construction are putting the finishing touches to the houses, the landscapers prepare to lay the grass in the middle of the cluster which will be the play / recreation area for the children and moms, washing lines are being erected, and vegetable gardens in between the houses are being planned.
72 beds are waiting to be delivered, and curtains are being made by the sewing ladies of Amaoti.
Needs
Fridges, stoves, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, linen, are all needed, as are children’s clothes from ages 2 to 12 in preparation for the arrival of the children.
Regular food supplies include bread, milk, eggs, juice, rice, mielie meal, samp, chicken, meat, fruit and vegetables.
Any help with the above will be greatly appreciated, including contacts with manufacturers / distributors who can offer reduced prices.
