This is a call to all our partners/friends of LIV to stand with us in prayer…
We are setting up a 24/7 – 90 day ‘prayer & fasting’ chain starting on Sunday 3rd April to 1st July. We cannot do this without the body of Christ closing ranks around us, through prayer, standing with us as we push through this critical stage of laying ‘foundations’, in preparation for the first intake of children and the mothers.
We have felt an increase in spiritual opposition these past few months. The mothers who are in training, and waiting for the completion of their homes, have also been under attack. They have been fasting and praying, regularly, for the past 6 months.
How you can sign up:
• Please email your name, email address and a telephone number to joan@liv-village.com and the time slot/days you are able to pray. (include which country you are from and we will convert it to SA time for the calendar). You can choose a half hour or one hour slot, once a week, 2 or 3 times a week, or every day.
• The fasting aspect of our request is entirely up to you. It can be for the day you are praying , for one hour before you pray, or maybe you will give up something for the duration of the 90 days.
• We will be posting on our website, a copy of the calendar for the 90 days with all your names & time slots, as well as weekly updates / prayer points so that we are standing in unity.
• We would also love for you to send in any word/scripture you feel God is giving you for LIV, at this time, as we take this journey together.
We are looking for our overseas friends in the USA, Canada, Australia etc, to pick up what would be our late night/early hours of the morning time slots, ie: from 21.00hrs to 05.00hrs SA time (GMT+1 ie we are now 1 hour ahead of the UK).
Please rally your churches to stand with us. We want to ‘flood’ the calendar with pray-ers!
Vision:
I (Joan) saw a rainbow over the village and over all of us who are working at LIV. It was a rainbow of the prayers of the saints as they stood together, shoulder to shoulder, in prayer, and pushed back the powers of darkness that threatened to engulf us. Every ‘warrior’ in Christ was dressed in the full armour of God.. (Ephesians 6:10-18).
It is the power of prayer that will push back the darkness and destroy/break down the strategies of the enemy.

It is times such as this that we rejoice being a part of the Body of Christ, as we call on you, our brothers and sisters in Christ, around the world, to stand with us.
