LIV THANKSGIVING SERVICE
Angela, our first resident mother, arranged a wonderful thanksgiving service on Sunday, with the help of some of the community ladies. The LIV church choir, led by Wonder, who is also one of our farm workers, entertained with amazing talent. Our Sisters, from Verulam, prepared and fed all who were there. A group of us from Harvest church had the privilege of being a part of this celebration of God’s goodness and provision.
LOOKING BACK
As we look back over the past year we are utterly amazed at the road we have travelled. We can only give God all the glory as we have experienced His favour, wisdom, and provision, and seen doors opened that we could not have imagined would have been possible. There are many times when we say we don’t know what we are doing or where this is going! All we know is that this is His vision for the orphaned and vulnerable children of our nation and continent and He will take His glory through them.
LOOKING FORWARD
As we look toward 2011, we are filled with anticipation and excitement. We know it is going to be a year of physical development and construction, as we enter the final stage of receiving the town planning approvals we need. It is also going to be a time of preparing for the arrival of mothers and children, developing the school, recruiting teachers, social workers and finding/training new mothers for the balance of the 94 homes.
THANK YOU!
To all of you, our LIV friends and partners, it is hard to find words to express our gratitude for your continued support, encouragement and prayers, as we serve the children of our nation together.
May God’s richest blessings be upon you as we celebrate our Lord Jesus’ birthday.
Tich and Joan

I love the story of the little boy who refused the new shoes because he was no longer an orphan.
This is such an amazing assurance of acceptance for this little boy and it has touched so many hearts!
We continue to be amazed and encouraged by what God is doing through this ministry. May our precious Saviour continue to bless all involved abundantly as you strive to fulfill the vision He has given you. Love you guys!
