Soul in the city / Soul Action visit LIV

Each year Soul Action send teams of young people to Durban for short term and long term stays. A group of ten paid us a visit, last week Wednesday, to see what was happening on the farm.
This group are here as part of their “SOUL IN THE CITY” 2 week programme to go and serve cities around the world. Durban have been blessed to have had them for 2 years running.

We  gave the team a full brief on the history / birthing of LIV and an update on where we are now.  They also watched our latest DVD on the banquet (these are going on sale via the website so watch the space!). Watching the DVD, we think, changed their lives, and they left our home for the village very emotionally charged! Their leader, Vanessa Lee, has been dreaming about the village since she first heard about it at Soul in the City, Durban, last year. She also hasn’t stopped crying! Her heart has been truly broken for what breaks the Father’s Heart.

SOUL ACTION PLANTS FIRST TREE

Last year we (Tich and Joan) had the incredible privilege of attending 3 Soul Survivor festivals in the UK where we were given the opportunity to share with 24,000 young people about the vision God gave us to build villages for the orphans. Mike Pilavachi, who heads up Soul Survivor, has become a dear friend and wonderful supporter and encourager to us, along with his whole team, and so it seemed very appropriate for a Soul Action team to be the first ones to plant a tree on the farm. The chosen avocado tree will give good ‘food’ to many.

Together we pulled off the greatest World Cup, ‘AFRICAN’ style.

Together we can look after “our children’.

KE NAKO. IT IS TIME.
